PHOENIX (August 13) – Kilpatrick announced today that associate Alexander Mallory has been admitted to the 2024-2025 class of the State Bar of Arizona Leadership Institute (BLI).
The State Bar of Arizona Leadership Institute (BLI) is a selective program designed to train the next generation of Bar members and community leaders. Participants are provided with networking opportunities, training and education, community awareness and other skills necessary to benefit the diverse communities in which they work, live and serve.
“I am grateful to participate in this year’s BLI class and look forward to developing meaningful relationships and joining hands to fight for a more just and human world,” said Mr. Mallory.
Mr. Mallory focuses his practice on litigation, including federal Indian law. He has represented tribes and tribal entities before federal, state, and tribal courts in all stages of litigation, including water issues, sovereign immunity, and employment and contractual disputes. He also advises tribes on treaty-rights issues and compliance with state and local laws.
Mr. Mallory graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and then clerked for the Honorable Diane J. Humetewa of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. He is also a board member of the National Native American Bar Association and was recognized last year by the National Center for American Indian Economic Development with its “40 Under 40” Award.
